Our Annual Conference, part of the Installers’ Summit, will take place on 9 November this year in the European Parliament. Co-organised with GCP Europe, the voice of building services engineering, mechanical & HVAC installers, we will focus on skills and AI.

We are pleased to have received the support of MEP Sylvie Brunet, member of the Employment Committee, who will be our host in the EU Parliament. She has led the work of her political group on the Commission proposal for the EU Year of Skills, which matches the theme of our conference.

We’ll have a keynote speech from MEP Brunet who will kick off our first session on the EU Year of Skills. This session will include more context and insight into the need for skills, highlights from our Skills Working Group and plenty of time for interaction.

Our second session will focus on artificial intelligence. We’ll again have an insightful keynote on the potential and development of AI, thanks to the participation of Ms. Lucilla Sioli, Director for AI-related topics at the Commission’s DG for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT), followed by input from the installation sector and again lots of interactivity! We also expect a remote intervention from MEP Brando Benifei, the lead rapporteur on the AI Act.

For our members, the events will start on the 8th in the evening with a welcome dinner and conclude on the 10th in the afternoon.
