The future of the Green Deal relies on electrification and our workforce – you heard it from us, now hear it from MEPs

EuropeOn recently released its Manifesto ahead of the June EU elections, where 2 main pillars were emphasised: a skilled workforce and electrification.

Electrification is the way forward to decarbonise many sectors as it relies on tried and tested technologies that can be rolled our swiftly with the right policy context and incentives.

We recently discussed our vision of an electrified Europe with MEP Ville Niinistö (Greens, Finland), and this is what he had to say about it:

On the other hand, we see that Europe needs to invest more in its human capital to enable electrification but also reap the full socio-economic benefits of the energy transition.

A few weeks ago, we sat down with MEP Jutta Paulus (Greens, Germany) to discuss the way forward for the European green workforce, here is her take on this question:
