Looking forward to EuropeOn’s main events for the second half of the year

With most of us back at work, let’s look ahead to what we have in store for the rest of 2024. While the main news in Brussels is about the new legislature starting and new Commissioners that should be appointed in the next weeks/months, EuropeOn also has its own agenda and events coming up.

First, our Annual General Meeting will take place from 16 to 18 October in Berlin, upon invitation of our German colleagues from the Zentralverband der Deutschen Elektro- und Informationstechnischen Handwerke (ZVEH).

We will start on Wednesday 16 October with a dinner to catch up and welcome all the members to Berlin. The next day, we’ll have an internal workshop, and in the afternoon our hosts are organising an insightful event with industry representatives around the topic of digitalisation.

As our association keeps growing, this will be the second annual gathering for our new members from Iceland (SART) and Greece (POSEH), and the first one for our Estonian colleagues (from EETEL).

On Friday 18 October, EuropeOn members will gather for our formal Annual General Meeting before heading off for a site visit organised by our German colleagues. To our members: make sure to get your ticket by contacting the secretariat!

Second, 2024 is no ordinary year for EuropeOn as it is our association’s 70th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, we will organise an event towards the end of the year, on November 20th in Brussels.

Further, this event will also serve as the unveiling for our refreshed Sector Report, which outlines the state of the electrical contracting sector, with key figures and trends. We’ll start in the afternoon with the presentation of our report and follow with a networking reception and drinks. Stay tuned for more information on the agenda and registrations.

We look forward to seeing all our members first in Berlin, and then in Brussels!
