EuropeOn is proud to be a member of the Electrification Alliance, along with 9 other associations that all firmly believe electrification is the future of the European Union’s energy system and are actively making this vision come true.

For the past five years, the Alliance has come together to make of electrification a priority in the EU’s agenda. We are working in a constructive way with EU decisionmakers to highlight the benefits of electricity and electrification, e.g. in terms of efficiency, flexibility, decarbonisation, digitalisation, sovereignty and local jobs creation. In the context of the Green Deal, the Fit for 55 Package and now the REPowerEU initiative, our diagnosis is each time confirmed and we strive to lift barriers to a faster roll out of electrification. This call is embodied by our joint media campaign #ElectrifyNow.

Of course, the Alliance is also a significant place for exchanges with the rest of the value chain. This is very valuable to EuropeOn and its members because we are increasingly aware of our central role in the energy, mobility and construction sectors and must engage better with other stakeholders to take up the challenge of achieving climate neutrality.
