While the summer break is in full effect and many of us are enjoying some well-deserved holidays, our readers still in the office can take this time to keep up with EuropeOn and catch up with our latest publications and events.
On our publications page, you’ll find all of our reports and position papers. Several new publications have been released in 2021 on both the electrical contracting sector and on the latest EU policy developments. In particular, you’ll find our report on “Business opportunities since Covid19” where we sought to give a positive outlook on our sector in the midst of the Covid crisis and needs for green recovery. We have also released a report examining job potential creation in the electrical contracting sector linked to projected increases in renovations, solar PV, storage and EV charging, further highlighting the economic potential of electrical work.
If EU policies are more your thing, you’ll also find our latest position papers and replies to consultations ahead of the EU’s Fit for 55 package. Watch out for more policy publications coming in the fall as EuropeOn will further unwrap this legislative packages and as new laws are proposed.
On our Youtube channel, you can go back to any previous online events you might have missed, such as ourwebinar for the release of our report on “Business opportunities since Covid19”. You’ll also be able to access the recordings of our previous Annual Conference where we examined the EU’s upcoming policies aimed at decarbonising buildings and transport.
As we return from the summer, we look forward to seeing our members at our Annual General Meeting on October 7. This will be followed by our Annual Conference on the 8th, organised with GCP Europe to provide a complete view of the installation sector. Stay tuned for more information in September!
